Disability is in the minds of people and not in us. Don’t just focus on your disabilities. Instead focus on your abilities. I would like to say to the society that by offering a seat to us in the bus or helping us cross roads are very small gestures. The real gesture will be when you will involve us in your discussions and affairs with dignity. We want someone to share our thoughts. So try to have a conversation with us.
And to my visually impaired friends I would say – don’t listen to people. There is no such thing as disability.
Create your own path and the world will follow.
