માયા

        માયા વિશે શાસ્ત્રોમાં બહુ બહુ લખાયું છે.  જો કે, એમાંનો એક ટકો પણ આ ‘માયા’એ વાંચ્યો નથી – એ પણ એક માયા જ છે. પણ માયા વિશે ગુરૂજી શ્રી. શ્રીરવિશંકર નો સરસ સંદેશ આજે વાંચવા મળ્યો , અને થોડીક સમજણ પડી!

What is not Maya?

   What cannot be measured? Joy cannot be measured, love cannot be measured, life cannot be measured, so that is why these are not called Maya.   

      Truth cannot be measured. Truth, consciousness, and bliss – this is what God is. What is God? ‘Sat’ means truth, ‘Chit’ means consciousness, ‘Ananda’ means bliss. God is truth, consciousness, and bliss – these cannot be measured. And this is what you are too! The nature of your spirit is bliss. Bliss cannot be measured, love cannot be measured, and that is what is not Maya.

શું માયા નથી?

    કઈ ચીજને માપી ન શકાય? આનંદ, પ્રેમ અને જીવનને માપી ન શકાય. એટલે આ ત્રણ ચીજ માયા નથી. 

   સત્યને માપી શકાતું નથી. સત્ય, ચેતના અને પરમ શાંતિ – એ ઈશ્વરનાં સ્વરૂપ છે. ઈશ્વર શું છે? સત એટલે સત્ય, ચિત એટલે ચેતના અને આનંદ એટલે પરમ શાંતિ. ઈશ્વર સત, ચિત અને આનંદ છે. આ ત્રણને માપી શકાતા નથી ( એટલે જ ઈશ્વરને પણ માપી શકાતો નથી.) અને તમે ( આપણે) પણ આ જ ચીજ છીએ. ચૈત્ય તત્વનું સ્વરૂપ પરમ શાંતિ છે. પરમ શાંતિ માપી શકાતી નથી. પ્રેમ માપી શકાતો નથી.

  અને એટલે એ માયા નથી
